BLAW 322 - Commercial Law & Transactions This Commercial Law and Transactions course covers the study of law and issues arising in commercial settings including agency, payment systems, security interests, bankruptcy and additional areas of government regulation such as securities, antitrust and protection of intellectual property. Accountants’ ethical responsibility and legal liability will be addressed. The principal emphasis is on the articles of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) that deal with commercial paper and secured transactions - Articles 3, 4,4a and 9 and bankruptcy as covered in the Federal Bankruptcy Code.
