EDGP 513 - Inst of Exceptional Learners 2

This course is designed to provide an introduction to the education of exceptional learners. Content will include psychological, academic, social and cognitive characteristics associated with specific handicapping conditions. Discussions will include special education services/ programming, the role of the family and community. Course content includes issues regarding the gifted child and diverse populations. Typically Offered Fall only.
