EDUC 161 - Foundations of Education


This course is designed to explore the professional roles and ethical responsibilities of educators within the educational system. Students will examine the various cultural, social, and legislative influences at the national, state, local levels on the decision-making process of schools. At the end of the course, students will develop their personal philosophy of teaching, learning, and education as a whole. Typically offered Fall, Spring.
