ENGL 491 - Tech Communication Internship

This course is designed to provide real-world employment experience in technical and professional communication. Typically taken between junior and senior years, students will hold an internship in technical writing or journalism to gain insights into technical and professional careers and knowledge of professional practices and to apply academic skills in practical work situations. PreRequisites: ENGL 311 and 321. 4-credit internship requires 20 hours per week, 8-credit internship requires 40 hours per week. Typically offered on demand.
