ESPT 260 - Content Creation Tools/Tech

In this course, students will be introduced to fundamentals, principles, and techniques of visual design, to be used in cohesion with professional content creation tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere to develop and apply creative artwork in the content creation, live streaming, and broadcasting frameworks. Course topics include visual communication, branding, advertising, storytelling, and communicating a message. Students will produce digital artwork that represents them as a brand and advertise their content to reach an audience. Students will demonstrate their skills by producing, branding, and advertising their streamer profiles on professional platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, and Mixer. Typically offered Fall, Spring, Summer semesters.
