HVAC 102 - Advanced Refrigeration and AC


A continuation of the basic refrigeration cycle and application of the Mollier diagram and thermodynamics, including theoretical and actual refrigeration capacities, along with a study of refrigerants, oils, systems, metering devices and compressors. Emphasis on instrumentation, testing, system troubleshooting and problem solving. Students will study for EPA Section 608 certification. Typically Offered Fall, Spring
