KCFN 115 - Design: Text This course introduces students to the use of images, text, color, layout, gestalt principles, and hierarchy of information to develop visual communication techniques. The fundamentals of typeface, letterforms, and spacing will be employed. Development of artifacts will be documented from initial concept to final piece. Students will use industry standard software to create cohesive layouts as well as raster and vector images. Level: UG Credit Hours: 3
