KCMI 305 - Life Sciences Illustration II

This course will incorporate color more widely and further investigate the use of 2D media (both analog and digital) as a method for conveying complex life science and medical concepts to specific audiences. The course will focus heavily on the process of research, utilizing primary literature, and evaluation of sources. Elements of health literacy, layout, cognitive load, visual hierarchy, and industry standards for effectively organizing and presenting information will also be covered.
