LITR 204 - Native American Literature


In order to read, understand, enjoy, and reflect upon oral and written works by and about Native American writers, students will be introduced to the social, historical, cultural and political issues which have influenced the lives of Native American people of the past and present and explore the literature’s recurring themes, images, symbols, influences, and ideas. Students will interact with literature, the instructor, and classmates through analyses, interactive activities, observations, discussions, and research.
