LITR 243 - Literature and Film


In order to read, understand, enjoy, and reflect upon literature and film, students will be introduced to major issues involved in adapting literary texts into film; major elements of narrative concepts and definitions in literature and film; the roles film adaptations of literature play. Students will interact with literature, the instructor, and classmates through quizzes, exams, class discussions, presentations, journal entries, blogs, worksheets, and/or papers.
