MRIS 209 - Quality Mgmt in Health Care Study of the concepts and procedures utilized in the performance of the quality assurance function in the health care setting. Emphasis on the role of the medical record practitioner in the management and control of the utilization review function of the facility. In the laboratory, the student will participate in utilization review and medical care evaluation activities. Meets General Education requirements for Collaboration.
