OPTM 744 - Optometric Gerontology The course objective is for students to develop an increased understanding of the elderly. The course content is adapted from A Recommended Continuing Curriculum: Geriatric Optometry for the Primary Care Practice prepared by the AOA Geriatrics and Nursing Facility Committee in June 2000. Content experts will give presentations on a variety of topics impacting the elderly and students will collaboratively evaluate the information for optometric significance.
