OPTM 745 - Low Vision - Geriatric Vision


The course identifies testing methods to determine the visual acuity, contrast sensitivity, color vision, and visual field of individuals who are either visually impaired of legally blind. Management of these functional losses may include use of optical and nonoptical devices, rehabilitation services and orientation/mobility services. Optometric issues related to the geriatric patient are also covered. Typically Offered Spring Only
