PDET 321 - Applied Mechanics-Kinematics


Review of two- and three-dimensional force systems using graphical and analytical methods with vector concepts. The study of kinetics, work, energy, and power. Study of displacement, velocity, and acceleration of mechanisms. This includes linear and angular motions. Emphasis is placed on motions of four-ban linkage, gears, cams and automation devices.
