PHAR 678 - Veterinary Pharmacy The course will introduce students to common animal diseases and the human and veterinary medications that are used in the treatment of those diseases. A description of the pharmacist’s role in filling the needs of veterinary patients will be covered. Included in the class are discussions on the laws and regulations associated with dispensing prescriptions to veterinary patients and activities involving veterinary compounding of prescriptions.
