PHAR 857 - Veterinary Medicine APPE This elective rotation is designed to provide students with exposure to veterinary pharmacy and the physiology and pathophysiology in animal patients. Students will be exposed to patient-care experiences in the areas of surgery, and internal medicine in both large and small animals. Students will gain an understanding of the pharmacy services a pharmacist can provide to a veterinary facility, and familiarity with the unique pharmaceutical needs and specific dosage forms needed in the management of animals. Typically offered: Fall, Spring Level: PR Credit Hours: 6
