PHIL 310 - Contemporary Philosophy


A survey course covering the major figures and movements of 20th century philosophy, which may include Dewey, James, Wittgenstein, Rawls, Heidegger, Foucault and Derrida. Emphasis varies with instructor. This course meets General Education requirements: Cultural Enrichment, and new Fall 2017 Culture. Typically Offered Fall, Spring and Summer.
