PHSC 110 - Inquiry into the Earth System This introductory course explores important concepts of geology, oceanography, meteorology and astronomy in order to understand Earth as a system in which land, water, air and space continually interact through the exchange of matter and energy to form our physical environment. The impact of humans on the earth system is an important theme throughout the course. This course meets general education requirements for scientific understanding.
