SCWK 310 - SCWK Policy&Political Advocacy


This course specifically identifies the frameworks for analyzing social and economic policies as they bear on social services welfare. Preparation for roles not only as service providers within existing policy but also as participants in efforts to change policy. From SCWK 210  , continued discussion of values underlying the social Services welfare system, particularly the principles of social, economic and environmental justice. It is strongly suggested that students complete SCWK 220   and SCWK 240   prior to enrolling in this course. Typically offered: Fall, Spring.
