SCWK 330 - Social Work Interviewing Skills II The advanced interviewing course, students will learn and practice skills to reinforce the various types, purposes and stages of interviewing, introduced in SCWK 130 , as well as the basic skills such as rapport building, empathy, observation, listening and assessment. Students will then utilize in-depth interviewing techniques such as clarification, interpretation, confrontation, systematic problem-solving and other techniques used in various assessment theories. This is a lab course, students should expect weekly in-class demonstration, practice and feedback regarding skill technique.Typically Offered Fall and Spring Level: UG Field of Study Restriction: MAJOR-SOWK
