SCWK 530 - Generalist Micro Practice Generalist Social Work Practice, is a foundation year MSW course. The course focuses on the theories, methods, ethics, and values of social work, from a trauma-informed, anti-racist lens, on social, economic, and environmental justice at the micro and mezzo levels of social work practice. It is also the beginning of a series of courses that teach advanced interviewing skills. Embedded in the course will be an introduction to the trauma-informed perspective, culturally responsive practices, and various evidenced based practices. Typically offered Fall.
