SOCY 242 - Sociology Of Deviant Behavior


Study of the definition, nature, and patterns of interaction surrounding so-called “deviant” behavior, as well as social and institutional attempts to prevent and control it. A critical examination of sociological theories of deviant, delinquent, and criminal behavior, and application of these theories to selected forms of deviance.
