STQM 285 - Foundations Business Analytics

Introduce linear and quadratic equations for solving problems in mathematical statistics including the use of linear algebra basic tools used in multi-dimensional scenarios. Get familiar with logarithmic and exponential functions applicable to specific statistical distributions or optimization problems. Get acquainted with differentiation and integration techniques used to solve problems in statistical distributions. Explore graphing techniques applicable to density functions used in different mathematical statistics problems. Typically Offered Spring only.
