EAET 106 - IIoT and Python Programming This course introduces the Industrial Internet of Things or IIoT, which is built on the concept of IoT. IIoT is a digital ecosystem of connected machines, equipment, and devices that communicate with each other under the umbrella of Industry 4.0. The Python programming environment will be used in conjunction with appropriate hardware to introduce the student to the foundation of PLCs and factory programmable devices, sometimes referred to as Edge Computing. The lab for this course is integrated with the lecture to provide a wide array of hands-on applications. Level: UG Credit Hours: 3
