AUTO 219 - Polyphase Automotive Systems

This technician focused course covers electric machines, their types, diagnosis, and testing. Transmission and final drive unit designs will be covered. Power inverters and motor controls, their operation and diagnosis will be covered. Regenerative braking will also be included in this course.Typically offered in Fall, offered in Spring as needed.
