PUBH 550 - Epidemiology in Public Health


This course will provide the graduate student with the opportunity to apply epidemiological methods including study design, legal/ethical aspects, and public health information software programs. Applications of methods will include screening, disease surveillance, outbreak investigation, and community needs assessment. Student presentations will focus on special topics such as infectious disease and chronic conditions. Typically offered in the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
