KCMI 406 - Professional Practice for Pre-Medical Illustration

This course will focus on best practices from both a workflow and professional perspective. This course will also result in a list of potential clients/employers and methods for promoting your work. This course will also compare marketing methods including social media platforms. Contracts, artists’ rights, and licensing strategies will also be investigated. The course will also identify methods for file organization and management and models for determining hourly or project-based billing rate.
