EAET 224 - Industrial Controls

This course explores Programmable Logic Controller automation, specifically in ladder logic, wiring diagrams, and systems layout with specific emphasis on input / output interfacing to automation. Students will be exposed to various types of sensor inputs, actuator outputs, and how to incorporate these in a congruent manner for a coherent ladder logic system. Lab is an integral part of this course, which will put into practice lecture materials. Typically offered Fall.
