PHAR 592 - Health System IPPE


This course is designed to integrate skills learned in the classroom with foundational medication use process functions of a health system pharmacist. This includes dispensing, interpersonal communication and calculations. Students will begin to apply standards, guidelines, best practices, and established processes for safe and effective medication use in the health system setting. It is expected that this introductory course will begin to prepare the student with foundational elements necessary to practice patient-centered care in the health system setting. Students must successfully pass and complete all required P1 didactic courses, co-curricular assignments, and patient care skills passport assessments to enroll in this course.
