Graduate Certificate
The Advanced Studies Certificate in Design and Innovation Management prepares its graduates to build cross-disciplinary design teams that, empowered by research, will have the ability to manage the convergence of design, market, and business to produce strategic solutions. Students will build positive relationships with a diversity of disciplines, develop a common working language, and explore shared tools and skill sets in both the design and the business industries. Skills and theories will be developed within a collaborative team approach to integrate research, analysis, synthesis, and strategic implementation outcomes addressing design-centered business solutions.

Admission Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with a 3.00 or higher GPA (on a 4.00 scale).
- Apply on-line through the application portal.
- Request official transcripts from all institutions of higher education that you have previously attended. Ferris graduates need not submit transcripts for coursework completed at Ferris.
- Cohorts for the Advanced Studies in Design and Innovation Management Certificate begin in the following semesters: Spring (January), Summer (May), and Fall (August).
- KCAD encourages outstanding candidates to apply at all times, and we will accept and consider applications after priority deadlines.
These requirements also apply to Transfer Students.
Courses - 12 Credit Hours Required
Graduate Certificate Requirements
- Completion of 12 credits.
- Be in good standing with the College.
