Associate of Science
Natural Science is intended for students who have a general interest in science but who are not ready to choose a specific field of study. The program also is intended to provide students with preparatory course work if previous academic experiences require fundamental improvements. During the first year, you take coursework necessary to fulfill the general education requirements common to all college degrees. You also choose courses in mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics and other sciences to build fundamental skills in these disciplines. During the second year, you continue selecting similar courses to assist you in focusing on an appropriate career direction. Coursework is extremely flexible and advisors work with you to plot a program of courses that suits your interests, goals and needs.
