The Associate of Applied Science in Civil Engineering Technology - Highway Emphasis incorporates small hands-on laboratory courses to provide well-rounded technical instruction in construction materials, methods, administration/operations, and equipment. The program has a specific focus on paving materials, highway technology, hydraulics, and construction equipment. Graduates of this high-demand program may choose employment in the heavy civil construction sector with a contractor, material supplier, transportation agency, or testing agency. They may also continue their education and obtain a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management through our American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) accredited program.
