PHYS 130 - Concepts in Physics A survey of physical concepts including mechanics, wave motion, heat, electricity and magnetism, light, and selected topics in modern physics. A minimum of mathematics is utilized to develop problem solving skills. Emphasis is placed on concept development so that science in a modern society may be recognized and appreciatied. This course meets General Education requirements: Scientific Understanding, Lab and new Fall 2017 Natural Sciences Lab. Typically Offered Fall, Spring Level: UG Credit Hours: 4
