CONM 116 - Construction Graphics


This class is a foundation course that utilizes basic and complex construction graphics methods used to communicate, to understand ideas and concepts found in construction, and to solve graphical representations required to explain the details of building a project. This course includes the development of orthographic presentations, isometric drawings, freehand drawings, dimension clarity, and three-dimensional models to develop the ability to visual structures from two-dimensional drawings. An explanation of the social history of the draftspeople that created these two-dimensional documents under the tutelage of professionally licensed architects is included. Typically Offered: Fall, Spring.
