NURS 371 - Maternal Health & Childbearing This course explores the physical, psychological, social, cultural, behavioral, ethical, and spiritual domains as they relate to providing safe and holistic care to women and childbearing families. Emphasis is placed on the role of the client(s) as an integral member of the health care team, childbearing as a normal physiologic process, and the anticipation of potential complications requiring specialized intervention.
