SCWK 481 - Internship Seminar I This course is a first semester seminar, which offers an opportunity to discuss and synthesize the application of social work values, knowledge, and skills that will be occurring in senior internship placements. The senior-year internship is focused on incorporating theory into practice to fulfill the role of a generalist social worker. Students are engaged in providing various levels of social work services aimed at demonstrating competency in areas required by the accrediting body (Council on Social Work Education). The seminar course is designed to support internship experiences through instructional monitoring of student progress.Typically Offered Fall, Spring, Summer Level: UG Credit Hours: 2
