EAET 313 - Electric Motors and Power Transformers

This course will explore AC and DC motors in a wide range of applications. These include single and polyphase AC and synchronous motors. DC motor applications include servo, brushed DC, and steppers. Motor drives in pulse width modulation, variable frequency and inverter applications will be emphasized, which covers electric vehicle powertrains.
