The capstone course for the welding engineering technology program. Designing, engineering, manufacturing, and managing a welding project. Design of welded structures and machine elements in terms of allowable stresses, joint configuration, material and process selection, welding procedures, equipment specification and purchasing, production forecasting, project supervision, and resource management techniques. Typically Offered Spring.
