EDSC 431 - Adv 3D Science Mthds-Tchng PK6

Students will evaluate instructional materials to create learning environments that engage children in using 3-D learning. The course will prepare students to incorporate interdisciplinary connections in science. Students will examine how children make sense of scientific phenomena and data. Strategies for incorporating learning experiences that allow for iterative sense-making, providing evidence based reasoning, effective questioning and grappling with alternative ideas will be emphasized. Equity and access will be a consideration in all learning practices. Typically offered: Fall, Spring.
